4. How We Share Information

We share information only as described below. We do not sell your personal information (see Section 5).

5. We Do Not Sell Your Data

Jittr does not sell your personal information, and we do not rent or trade it to third parties for their own marketing. We do not share your personal information with advertisers for cross-context behavioral advertising. The only parties who receive your information are the service providers that help us run the Service, and only as needed to operate it on our behalf.

6. Service Providers

We rely on a small number of trusted providers to operate Jittr. Each processes information only to provide their service to us:

These providers may process and store data in the United States and other countries where they operate.

7. Data Retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information, except where we are required to retain it to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, or enforce our agreements. Some content you contributed may persist in aggregated or anonymized form (for example, contributing to overall café ratings) in a way that no longer identifies you.

8. Your Rights & Choices

You have control over your information:

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable laws — such as the right to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Residents of California and certain other U.S. states, and users in the EU/UK, may have specific rights under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA and the GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in Section 13. We will respond as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, access controls on our database, and restricted administrative access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to address vulnerabilities promptly.

10. Children’s Privacy

Jittr is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, such as 16 in parts of the EU/UK). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

11. International Users

Jittr is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
